poor Colorado is going up in flames. I swear you turn your back for an hour and there's five new fires raging out of control. A lot of my relatives have been evacuated and are awaiting news to see if their house is still there. A very stressful situation all around, but I'm hoping for some rain to help out. And I mean rain, not more lightning.

I'm currently actively working on four different dollhouse rooms. One of which I just finnished, my bridal boutique. its missing a few pieces here and there but im pretty happy with it. It is my first ever room so its a little rough around the edges but I like it. Heres the room as a whole
a closer view of the shelves
I made alot of the miniatures in this scene out of polymer clay (the candles, cakes, purse, and calla lillies). The bouquets throughout the scene were a amazing find on ebay a few years ago.

The next project that is taking up the most of my attention is a harry potter stryle pet shop, this is the box.
I just love the wall paper, Its such a rich color! The counter has been weathered to look more authentic. I'll add more furniture once I find some that fits but I do have some of the residence of what I've been calling "the curious Raven". Anyone know someone who makes miniature signs?
Here are my first round of owls that will live here.

These little guys are polymer clay that I painted with tiny little brushes. The barn owl was the first one i made but the great horned owl is definitely my favorite. Someday I want to learn how to add feathers to them so they look more realistic. I made several more but these are definitely my best work.

hello there! this will be my first blog and my first post on my first blog, I should probably say something significant shouldn't I ? I'm relatively new to the miniature scene and I started this blog as a way to help me organize my thoughts and meet tons of cool people. My miniatures will circle around various scenes from movies and fantasy creations of my own. The first pictures of my creations will be posted soon.
